About the Journal

Universa Medicina, a publication of Faculty of Medicine Trisakti University, is a peer-reviewed print + online Quarterly journal. The journal's full text is available online at https://www.univmed.org. The journal allows free access (Open Access) to its contents and permits authors to self-archive final accepted version of the articles on any OAI-compliant institutional / subject-based repository.

The journal will cover technical and clinical studies related to health, ethical and social issues in field of The Editorial Board of theUniversaMedicinaand the Publisher adheres to the principles of the International Council of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE),and the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Universa Medicina is a 4 monthly, peer-reviewed, online open access journal that publishes original research articles in boimedical science, clinical practice and animal studies. Our focus is on research that is relevant to patients and clinicians, such as the elucidation of disease processes and management protocols resulting in improved outcomes for the patient. Patient perspectives such as satisfaction, quality of life, health literacy and communication and their role in developing new healthcare programs and optimizing clinical outcomes are major areas of interest for the journal.. Articles with clinical interest and implications will be given preference.
